Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we're doing, and not overly reactive by our surroundings.

There is a 3 step practice to attain mindfulness as it is best understood when experience and not by just reading.

Attend. Focus. Aware.

Attend - Be fully present in the moment with no thoughts about the past or future. Train your mind to remain in the environment in which you are right now. To play Lego, one has to be conscious and attentive in the moment.

Focus - Focus on only one thing which is right in front of you. The human body wired in a way that it can carry n number of thoughts altogether, which usually leaves the mind tired. In order to be mindful, your focus should narrow down to one thing by eliminating distractions. Lego models are built with calm and cognitive thinking.

Aware - Train your mind to be aware of the current situation, embrace it, and then work on it. Building with Lego will challenge your trained flow of thinking. It requires creativity to plan and build Lego models.

Playing Lego has been a therapy for millions of people already to cure stress. It is not only for kids but for adults too. Adults have the toughest time dealing with work pressure and social life together. Playing Lego will improve their ability to think and prioritize.
